When an individual learns to engage in heightened autonomous behavior, reliance on self-determination takes the place of control and coercion within their environment. Autonomy coaching targets areas of resistance and sources of extreme anxiety and allow clients to develop ways to engage with their environment on their own terms!

Gate ABA works with you and your family to develop an individualized sleep training procedure. Gate ABA provides sleep training for children 6 months and up. We might be a good fit for your family if your child:
- Has to be rocked to sleep
- Wakes up in the middle of the night or early morning (before 6am)

Gate ABA works with you and your family to develop an individualized sleep training procedure. Gate ABA provides sleep training for children 6 months and up. We might be a good fit for your family if your child:
- Has to be rocked to sleep
- Wakes up in the middle of the night or early morning (before 6am)
- Refuses to sleep alone in his or her own bed
- Throws pacifiers or stuffed animals out of the crib and cries until you bring them back
- Frequently gets out of bed after you put him or her to sleep
- Isn’t sleeping the number of hours recommended by your pediatrician
The sleep training methods recommended by GATE will depend on your child’s age, current sleep routine, and developmental stage. These strategies include the Ferber Method (Ferber, 1985), breaking previous contingencies related to sleep problems (Sandy Jin et al. 2013), and developing new routines and contingencies to promote better sleep (Hanley, 2013).

Gate ABA offers multiple toilet training packages that vary in the number of days required and the level of support provided. The package recommended for your family will be based on your child’s age, developmental skills, and caregiver availability. Our packages include options for a wide variety of caregiver time commitments. Each of our packages offer:
- A toilet training protocol tailored to your family and your specific needs
- Direct toilet training with your child provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Caregiver training
- Virtual check-ins
- Data analysis on your child’s progress provided by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
